Immunization clinic for KHS seniors

The Kenton Hardin Health Department will provide an immunization clinic for Kenton High School seniors who are college bound on Wednesday- April 8th, 2009 from 8 A.M. till 9:00 A.M. at the high school front office’s conference room. The 2 vaccines that will be offered are Meningitis and a Hepatitis B booster (this is in addition to the series of 3 Hepatitis B’s that they get earlier in childhood) which are required for entry into college. The cost of each is $10. So if the student is getting both, he or she would need to bring $20 in cash or a check made payable to the Kenton Hardin Health Department. There will be a consent form included in the 3rd nine weeks grade card sent to the home. You must complete this and have your child bring that the morning of 4-8-2009 along with payment. If your child is on a Medicaid card, please send this with the child for billing purposes for these vaccines.

Any questions about these vaccines, please call the Kenton Hardin Health Department at 419-673-6230 or consult your child’s physician.
