Food Drive A Success

Kenton High School Student Council conducted their annual food drive competition November 16th-20th. Each school within the district provided many shopping carts of food that were donated to Neighborhood Opportunity Center and Full Gospel. Kenton High School collected over 4,600 items! We beat our record of 4,000 from last year. The winning class was Mrs. Eley’s 6th period English class! 943 items were collected in this one class period! Congratulations to them for such a great effort! The students also collected over $100 dollars to be divided among the organizations as well. Kenton Elementary School collected over 2,500 items to also donate to these organizations. KHS student council would like to thank all of the teachers,students,and community members who helped make this year’s drive a huge success.
