Award-Winning Author Slated to Speak Tomorrow

Best-selling author and award-winning global speaker, Kevin Hines is speaking for free at Kenton Middle School Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss his compelling story that has touched and saved thousands of lives. His message is about suicide prevention and awareness. Hines is a part of the 1% of all people that have jumped off of the  Golden Gate Bridge and survived. Kevin is very open about the challenges he faces with his mental illness. He will be discussing warning signs, and steps both parents and student can take if they see them. Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion consisting of Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser, a representative from the We Care Center, and representatives from other County Mental Health entities. The focus of the discussion will highlight what resources are available locally. The event is slated for Wednesday, November 30th at 6:30 in the Kenton Middle School Auditorium. There is no charge and it is open to the public. Parents of students ages 7th-12th grade are encouraged to attend with their students. You can learn more about Kevin here:
