KHS Students spent last week carrying boxes and cans of food through our doors. Not for their lunch, but for the lunch of someone they may not know. Every year, the Kenton High School Student Council puts on a food drive for two local food pantries in an effort to provide Thanksgiving meals for those less fortunate. While the final numbers are still being reviewed, KHS students alone filled 6 shopping carts and had lined the rest of the hall with bags of canned goods. Debbie Hamilton, who manages the Bread of Life Food Pantry at Kenton FULL Gospel Church said that last year’s donation was able to feed people until March. The members of Student Council would like to thank the student body for donating again this year.
Bruce McPheron, OSU Vice President and Provost, will be addressing county wide high school Juniors and Seniors in our high school gym this Monday afternoon. Mr. McPheron is a proud graduate of Kenton High School!
1st 9 weeks report cards will be issued to students during their second period class today (11/3). Check ProgressBook for the most updated grades for the 2nd 9 weeks.
